maja mihajlovic
I am an artist living and working in Sheffield. I graduated in 2015 from Sheffield Hallam and was delighted to be awarded the first Janet Parry Prize – a cash award for attainment.
My work is sculptural multi-media assemblage. It is deep in a colour obsession and has long been engaged with ideas of de-classification and mis-communication. With my latest project, Take Me To Your Leader, I have begun to find a more politically engaged voice of resistance addressing oppression and abuses of power across all cultures.
